Picture 05 Create a new adjustement layer "Levels" : 12 - 1,20 - 221

Picture 06 Merge visible layers using ctrl+shift+alt+E.
Desaturate the layer and invert it using Ctrl+I.
Apply a gaussian blur of 5px. Set the layer to Overlay. Set the opacity to 36%

Picture 07 Change the background if needed. I will speak about different methods to do that in an other tutorial.

Picture 08 Create a new layer and apply the color #808080. Set it to Overlay. Work on shadows and lights with a black and a white soft round brush. Width : between 5 and 20 px. Opacity : between 5% and 10%. You can light the pupil for an interesting effect.

Picture 09 Merge visible layers using ctrl+shift+alt+E. Correct default with the cloning stamp. Width : 20px. Opacity : 30%. Adjust hue and saturation.

Picture 10 Duplicate the "Layer0" on top and apply a gaussian blur of 5 px. Set the opacity to 25%

Picture 11 Work again on shadows and lights with repeating all the step 08

Picture 12 Merge visible layers using ctrl+shift+alt+E. At this step, I change the background because I'm not satisfied with it. I work on the hair too with a smudge tool. Width : between 5 and 10px. Strength : 70%

Picture 13 Create layers with textures you can find on internet. I prefer to have one texture on each layer. I choose overlay or multiply and change the opacity until I'm satisfied.

Picture 14 Apply a black-white gradient map on a new layer. Here the black is on top right and white on bottom left. Set the layer to overlay and the opacity to 50%

Picture 15 Create a new adjustement layer "Hue/Saturation" : 23 - 1 -255. Set the saturation to -14. Create a new adjustement layer "Levels" : 0 - 1,09 -255
